Kollonitsch, noble family, originally from Croatia. Came to Austria 
during the 15th century. Various members of the family served in the 
imperial army or became ecclesiastical dignitaries: Count Leopold Karl 
 Kollonitsch, Count Sigismund  Kollonitsch.
