!!!Kolm, Gustav Anton

b. Vienna, Oct. 12, 1865, 
d. Vienna, Oct. 11, 1922, film pioneer and photographer; husband of 
Louise  Kolm. From 1906 produced Viennese short films; (together with 
his assistant J. Fleck) founded the company "Wiener 
Kunstfilm-Industrie"; (together with his wife Louise, Fleck and the 
actor H.  Hanus.) produced the first Austrian feature film "Von Stufe 
zu Stufe", 1908 (no longer extant). Numerous other film projects 
(newsreels, feature films) followed.

1910; Hoffmanns Erzaehlungen, 1911; Johann Strauss an der schoenen 
blauen Donau, 1913; Der Pfarrer von Kirchfeld, 1914; Eine Million 
Dollar, 1921.
