d. Netěchovice (Czech Republic), March 19, 1893, composer, 
organist, conductor, father of Karl  Komzák jr. Founder and 
1854-1865 conductor of the orchestra which came to be called the 
Prague Theaterorchester, from 1865-1888 military band master.

more than 300 works, mostly marches (Erzhzg.-Albrecht-Marsch) 
and dances; orchestra compositions.
