Konrad von Haslau, travelling poet from Haslau an der Leitha (perhaps 
in the service of a noble family from Haslau); between 1270-1280 wrote 
the Middle High German didactic poem "Der Juengling" ("The young man") 
in 1264 rhyming couplets. The poem was intended for young people from 
noble families.
