!!!Kozenn, Blasius

b. Hotunje pri Ponikvi, Slovenia (then Schlindorf bei Ponigl), Jan. 24, 1821, 
d. Vienna, May 29, 1871 Vienna, cartographer. Studied theology at the 
Universities of Graz (1840-1841) and Klagenfurt (1841-1845), 1845 
ordained as a priest, 1852-1853 studied mathematics and physics at the 
University of Vienna, then became a grammar school teacher. Edited 
geographical text books and the first Austrian atlas for primary 
schools (1860) and grammar schools (1861). It was published under the 
name of its founder until 1978 (104th edition); the "Neue K. Atlas" 
("New K. Atlas") was published in 1996.
