Kravogl, Johann, b. Lana (Italy), Nov. 24, 1823, 
d. Brixen/Bressanone (South Tyrol), Jan. 1, 1889, gunsmith and 
mechanic at the University of Innsbruck. Invented an electrically 
powered motor-cycle in 1867, which, however, he could not exploit 
financially.
