!!!Kreutzer, Konradin

Kreutzer, Konradin, b. Messkirch (Germany), Nov. 22, 1780, 
d. Riga (Latvia), Dec. 14, 1849, composer and conductor. Pupil of 
J.  Haydn (?) and J. G.  Albrechtsberger, from 1800 composed 
singspiele and incidental music, 1822-1827 and 1829-1832 conductor at 
the Kaerntnertortheater, from 1833 at the Theater in der Josefstadt. 
After 1840 worked mostly outside Austria, composed the music for "Der 
Verschwender" by F.  Raimund  and "Melusina" by F.  Grillparzer.

about 50 singspiele and compositions for the stage: Die 
laecherl. Werbung, around 1800; Die Insulanerin, 1813; Die lustige 
Werbung, 1826; Das Nachtlager von Granada, 1834; Der Verschwender, 
1834; Die beiden Figaro, 1840.
