!!!Kriegswirtschaftliches Ermächtigungsgesetz

Kriegswirtschaftliches Ermaechtigungsgesetz (War Economy Empowering 
Act), law from July 24, 1917 (Reichsgesetzblatt/Imperial Legal Gazette 
No. 307), authorising the government to take all measures necessary to 
ensure the functioning of the economy and supplies to the population 
during World War I. It was still in force in the Republic of Austria 
and served as the basis for all emergency decrees issued by the 
authoritarian  Corporate State after the dissolution of parliament in 
March, 1933, until the constitution of 1934 was enacted. It was 
abolished by the constitutional law of July 25, 1946 
(Bundesgesetzblatt/Federal Legal Gazette number 143).
