Kriesche, Richard, b. Vienna, Oct. 28, 1940, abstract artist, 
creates objects, incorporates the media in his work; studied at the 
Vienna Academy of Fine Arts. Deals also with social and political 
questions arising in photography, analyses structures of everyday-life 
by means of the media. 1991-1996 taught at the College of Design in 
Offenbach (Germany), since 1996 responsible for science and art in the 
Styrian provincial government.

"studio sperimentale" (Biennale di Venezia, 1970); "weltall" 
(Documenta Kassel, 1987).
