Kropf, Wolfgang, b. Klagenfurt (Carinthia), Aug. 20, 1941, 
manager. Studied engineering in Graz; 1967-1981 employed by 
Steyr-Daimler-Puch AG, where his last position was assistant to the 
managing director in charge of development. From 1981 employed by BMW; 
1985-1989 head of production in Munich; afterwards headed various 
departments of BMW Motoren GmbH in Steyr, the last being quality 
safeguarding and motor installation. Since 1997 managing director of  
BMW Motoren GmbH and BMW Oesterreich Holding GmbH.
