!!!Kubelka, Peter

b. Vienna, March 23, 1934, avant-garde film maker. Studied film 
directing at the Musikhochschule* in Vienna and at the Centro 
Sperimentale in Rome. 1954/55 made "Mosaik im Vertrauen" in 
cooperation with F.  Radax, followed by numerous other experimental 
films. Founded the Austrian Film Museum in Vienna together with P. 
Konlechner; from 1980 professor at the art academy (Kunstakademie) in 
Frankfurt am Main.
