!!!Kumpf, Gottfried

b. Annaberg (Salzburg), Nov. 29, 1930; painter, graphic artist and 
sculptor. Since 1968 has lived in the Austrian province of Burgenland; 
its landscape and environment are the subjects of his 
characteristically naïve works (Award for Conservation Merit of 
the World Wildlife Fund, WWF in 1982). His works cover a broad 
spectrum, from small graphics (stamps) through illustrations of 
children's books, oil paintings and sculptures to designs of buildings 
and landscapes.

Vivat Pannonia, 1972 (cartoons); Unterwegs im Burgenland, 1973; 
Ruzzitu, 1978 (illustrations); Hommage an Oesterreich - Die 
Hauptstaedte, 1998 (graphics cycle); design of the motorway restaurant 
at Goettlesbrunn, Lower Austria, 1991-1992; set of "Der 
Zigeunerbaron", Moerbisch Lake Festival, 1992; design of the hot 
springs, hotel and golf course in Stegersbach ("K:-Therme"), 
Burgenland, 1996-1998.
