Kunert GmbH: Until 1945 the brothers Heinrich and Julius Kunert owned 
the largest stocking factory in Europe, located at Warnsdorf 
(Varnsdorf, Czechia) and employing about 5,000 people. In 1949 
Heinrich Kunert established a new factory at Rankweil-Brederis 
(Vorarlberg). Today Kunert specialises in making nylon yarns, 
stockings and tights. Turnover in 1993: 580 million ATS; around 500 
employees.
