!!!Löffler, Stelzvogel

Spoonbill, large long-legged wading bird with unmistakable, large 
spatulate bill; nuptial plumage pale-yellow, long tuft of feathers. 
Needs shallow waters with muddy grounds (Lange Lacke). Spoonbills are 
migrants which return in April and breed in colonies; former colony 
near Lake Neusiedl.
