b. Tulln (Lower Austria), Nov. 10, 1904, 
d. Vienna, Dec. 17, 1988, actor, theatre manager, writer; father of 
Sissy  Loewinger. From childhood performed on his parents' stage, took 
over the family-owned "Loewinger Buehne" in 1947, wrote numerous 
comedies and popular plays, often broadcast on TV. Numerous film parts 
(including "Zyankali", 1947; "Kaiserball", 1956).
