Lassnitz, River, Styria, north-western tributary of River Sulm in the 
hilly area of western Styria. The Lassnitz rises as the Lower Lassnitz 
close to the Koralpe mountains, flows eastwards, around the Sausal 
area and empties near Leibnitz (274 m); average water flow 
amounts up to 6.2 m%%sup 3/%/Sec. near Obertillmitsch (276 m).
