Laaer Berg Hill, 251 m, gravel mountain in the southern outskirts 
of Vienna (10%%sup th/%  district) including the Laaer Wald woods, 
popular destination for day trips ("BoehmischerPrater"/ Bohemian 
Prater): restaurants, merry-go-rounds, shooting galleries. Council 
housing estates on the Laaer Berg hill. Ponds in former gravel pits. 
Conservation area, reafforestation. Vineyards on the eastern slope. 
Laaer Berg public swimming pool. Landscape park on the south 
slope. The Wienerberg hill is next to the Laaer Berg hill in the west. 
Parish church on Laaer Berg hill (1984-1986).
