b. Linz, Upper Austria, May 29, 1868, 
d. Vienna, Oct. 9, 1933, painter and graphic artist, nephew of Andreas 
 Lach. Employee of the DDSG company, lived in various cities on the 
Danube (Linz, Orsova, Semlin, Regensburg) until the age of 32, then in 
Vienna. His watercolour landscapes enjoyed particular popularity.
