Treason in Austria: spying and betrayal of state secrets are criminal 
offences. Betrayal of state secrets to foreign countries results in 
more severe penalties. Operating or supporting a foreign secret 
service to the disadvantage of Austria or supporting enemy forces in a 
war with Austria are also criminal offences.
