!!!Laternser Tal

Laterns Valley, Vorarlberg, valley east of River Rhine in the 
Bregenzer Wald mountain region, drained by the Frutzbach stream. In 
the 13%%sup th/%  century the Walser people lived in the Laterns 
valley, which extends from the southern part of the Hohe 
Kugel-Mellental conservation area to Rankweil (502 m) in the 
west. The Frutzbach stream empties into River Rhine north of 
Meiningen. The Furkajoch saddle (1,759 m) gives access to Damuels 
(1,425 m) in the east. The main town is Laterns (995 m).
