!!!Lauda, Nikolaus Niki

b. Vienna, Feb. 22, 1949, racing driver, pilot and entrepreneur; 
grandson of Hans  Lauda. From 1971 in Formula I, 1975 Formula I world 
champion (Ferrari); serious accident Aug. 1, 1976 on the Nuerburg 
Ring, but returned to racing again 30 days later; 1977 again Formula I 
world champion (Ferrari). 1979 retired from Formula I racing and 
founded  Lauda Air; 1981 returned to racing, 1984 won his 3rd Formula 
I world championship (McLaren). Altogether 25 Grand-Prix victories. 
Finally retired from motor racing in 1985, 1992-1997 Ferrari 
consultant, exclusively with Lauda Air until 2000, since 2001 racing 
manager for Jaguar.
