In World War I awarded the title of Theresienritter for his services, drafted the last order for the imperial army. Commanded the so-called "white" troops opposing the annexation of Burgenland to Austria and supported the attempt to restore King Karl to the throne of Hungary (Oct. 22-24, 1921); later lived in Austria. \\ Work: Erinnerungen, ed. v.
