information science, habilitation at the J.-Kepler University in Linz, 
from 1992 university professor of Business and Information Management 
and Information Theory in Business at the WHU Koblenz, 1994 rector of 
this university. 1995 President of the  Donau-Universitaet Krems in 
Krems an der Donau, since 1995 university professor in Regensburg. 
Since 2001 member of the Europaeische Akademie fuer Wissenschaft 
(European Academy of Science)
