!!!Lehner, Leo

Lehner, Leo, b. Vienna, July 20, 1900, d. Kirchdorf an der 
Krems (Upper Austria), April 22, 1981, composer, kapellmeister and 
choirmaster, from a family of musicians. Kapellmeister e.g. at the 
Circus "Krone" and until 1926 at the Vienna State Opera and at the 
Vienna Burgtheater; worked as a music teacher in Vienna for 30 years, 
from 1935 at a teacher training institution; 1930 founded the choir 
"Jung-Urania", 1946 the choir "Jung-Wien" and was choirmaster of 
numerous other choirs.
