!!!Leichter, Käthe

Leichter, Kaethe, b. Vienna, Aug. 20, 1895, 
d. Ravensbrueck concentration camp (Germany), March 17, 1942, 
socialist trade unionist, wrote numerous sociopolitical publications, 
head of women´s affairs at the Vienna Chamber of Labour ( 
Women's Movement). Militant of the Revolutionary Socialists (Social 
Democratic Party declared illegal and driven underground in 1934). 
Betrayed to the gestapo after the flight of her husband Otto  Leichter 
and her two sons, arrested on May 30, 1938 and deported to 
Ravensbrueck concentration camp.
