Lenzing, Upper Austria, market town in the district of Voecklabruck, 
alt. 485 m, pop. 5,063, area 8.89 km%%sup 2/%, industrial 
centre, north of Lake Attersee. - Recreation centre, about 83 % 
of the 3,884 employed people (1991) work in industries: in 1984 
merging of the pulp and paper mill and of the man-made fibre factory ( 
Lenzing AG), shoe production, wood processing industry.
