Leopoldsdorf, Lower Austria, municipality in the district of Wien 
Umgebung, alt. 179 m, pop. 2,627, area 6.95 km%%sup 2/%, at 
the southern city limits of Vienna, in the Vienna Basin. - 2 
industrial areas with numerous enterprises: brickworks, concrete block 
works, building industry and construction-related trades (scaffolding, 
plate interior work, etc.), production of frozen foods, restaurant 
equipment (scales, cutting devices), environmental technology firm, 
steel-construction fitting shop, refuse separation plant, large 
bakery, haulage companies. - Palace, partly from the 2%%sup nd/%  half 
of the 16%%sup th/%  century, rebuilt by J. Kornhaeusel in 1825, 
renovated 1890, tombstones with emblazonry; Heart of Mary parish 
church (1952).
