Leopoldseder, Hannes, b. St. Leonhard bei Freistadt (Upper 
Austria), March 27, 1940, journalist, intendant. Has worked for 
the Austrian broadcasting corporation ORF since 1967; 1971-1973 deputy 
head of the politics and current affairs department and 
editor-in-chief of the series "Querschnitte", 1974-1998 
intendant of the ORF Provincial Studio of Upper Austria. 1979 
co-founded  Ars Electronica; initiator of the Linz Klangwolke, the 
Prix Ars Electronica and the Ars Electronica Center. Since 1998 
Information Director of ORF television.
