!!!Liebenau, Stadtbezirk

Liebenau, Styria, 7%%sup th/%  district of Graz (since 1938), in the 
south-east of the city; old houses (17%%sup th/%  century, 1%%sup st/% 
 half of 19%%sup th/%  century). Former Liebenau Palace, called 
"Vatersdorf" until the middle of the 17%%sup th/%  century, mediaeval 
manor (documented mention 1164) rebuilt as Renaissance palace in the 
2%%sup nd/%  half of the 16%%sup th/%  century. 1853/54 cadet school, 
today Federal secondary boarding-school.
