Glan, alt. 491 m, pop. 3,130, area 58.85 m%%sup 2/%, in the 
Glantal valley. - Parish church (15%%sup th/% /16%%sup th/%  
centuries) in Pulst, high altar from around 1760; Hohenstein Castle, 
built in 1537/38, Renaissance manor with massive towers, courtyard 
with arcades and sgraffiti, drawbridge, chapel. Noreia-Isis temple and 
excavated Roman estate in the close vicinity.
