Lindinger, Herbert, b. Wels (Upper Austria), Dec. 3, 1933, 
designer. Studied visual communication and product design in Ulm; 
professor in Ulm 1962-1968. From 1971 professor and director of the 
Institute of Industrial Design at the University of Hannover. Has 
designed subways, buses, street accessories and squares in a number of 
German cities; international designer of exhibitions.
