b. Vienna, April 26, 1925, Kammersaengerin* (soprano); wife of Rudolf  
Gamsjaeger. Made her debut in 1943, since 1945 member of the Vienna 
Staatsoper opera house, performances at the Salzburg Festival; from 
1981-1995 professor at the University Mozarteum Salzburg. 
International performances, numerous records (mostly with K.  Boehm).
