516 m, pop. 2,066 (1981: 1,866), area 33.29 km%%sup 2/%, 
southwest of Kobernausser Woods, near the border with Salzburg 
province. - Sports centre; wood processing, cheese dairies, production 
of refrigerating machines, warehouse. - Parish church, made Baroque 
between 1760-1770, magnificent Baroque interior, main works 
(1709-1713) by M. Guggenbichler; late Gothic subsidiary church in 
Gebertsham with late Gothic winged altar-piece (1515-1520); 
Gothic-Baroque subsidiary church in Astaett with high altar 
(1700-1710).
