b. Vienna, Sept. 2, 1885, 
d. Vienna, July 23, 1970, orthopedist and writer; son of Adolf  
Lorenz, brother of Konrad  Lorenz. Worked with and succeeded to his 
father at the Vienna University Hospital. Wrote the humorous 
biographical book "Wenn der Vater mit dem Sohne" (1952,
