Losenstein, Hans Wilhelm von, b. 1540, d. 1601. Completed 
the Renaissance palace Schallaburg and probably was responsible for 
the design of the arcade, which was completed under his supervision. 
Established a "Hohe Schule" (secondary school) in Loosdorf 
(school regulations preserved) and had a tomb built for himself during 
his lifetime.
