!!!Losenstein, Ministerialengeschlecht

Losenstein, Austrian family of estate officials from the valley of the 
River Enns; split into several branches during the 14th century, died 
out in 1692. The family is buried at the monastery at Garsten 
(Laurentiuskapelle). Their ancestral seat was at  Losenstein (Upper 
Austria); from 1442, their main seat was at Losensteinleiten (Upper 
Austria). The most prominent member of the family was Hans Wilhelm von 
 Losenstein.
