!!!Luchsperger, Lorenz

Luchsperger, Lorenz, first mentioned in documents from Wiener Neustadt (Lower Austria; 1486), 
d. Wiener Neustadt, 1501, late Gothic sculptor. The Annunciation Group 
and the 12 Apostles at the cathedral of Wiener Neustadt are ascribed 
to him; stylistically a disciple of N.  Gerhaert van Leyden. Possibly 
came to Austria as a sculptor together with N. Gerhaert.
