b. Vienna, May 19, 1810, 
d. Vienna, Dec. 26, 1870, lieutenant field marshal, diplomat and 
journalist. Wrote the two-volume work "Sibyllinische Buecher aus 
Oesterreich" (1848), attacking the Metternich system, which had 
contributed to the outbreak of the  Revolution of 1848.
