d. Salzburg, Aug. 1, 1988, civil engineering geologist. Supervised the 
construction of the alpine road crossing Mount Grossglockner ( 
Grossglockner-Hochalpenstrasse) and the power station Kaprun, 
specialist in rock mechanics, 1965-1976 professor at the University of 
Karlsruhe.
