d. Berlin (Germany), Dec. 24, 1942, singer, (bass, helden-baritone). 
1911 to 1915 in Graz, 1915 to 1918 at the Volksoper, 1919 to 1934 at 
the Vienna State Opera, from 1922 performances at the Salzburg 
Festival. 1932 to 1935 teacher at the Vienna Musikhochschule*, from 
1935 in Berlin.
