b. Vienna, Oct. 26, 1934, author of youth literature, essayist, 
translator, humorous narratives with fairy tale, fantastic and droll 
features. Studied law, guild secretary with the Vienna Chamber of 
Trade, 1971 to 1975 Culture representative in Ankara, 1975 to 1978 in 
London, 1990-1995 Head of the Austrian Culture Institute in London.
