!!!Maria Dreieichen

Maria Dreieichen, Lower Austria, part of the municipality of 
Rosenburg-Mold, alt. 378 m, place of pilgrimage (since 1656) 
situated on the northern slope of Manhartsberg Hill; due to its 
location, the Late Baroque pilgrimage church can be seen from far. 
Planned by L. Wissgrill, it was built between 1744 and 1750; ceiling 
paintings and murals by P. Troger (1752), J. W. Bergl and J. 
Hauzinger, altar piece by Bergl and M. J. Schmidt (1768). Its 
treasury contains numerous votive offerings (including a votive 
picture by J. Fuehrich, 1837). Near the church are the Bruendl Chapel 
and the Grasel Den, where the robber chief  Grasel is said to have 
hidden.
