!!!Marinelli, Karl Edler von

b. Vienna, 1745 (baptized Sept. 12, 1745), d. Vienna, Jan. 28, 
1803, actor, theatre manager and playwright. From 1761 travelling 
comedian in the "Schultz Company" ("Schultzsche Gesellschaft") in 
Baden (Lower Austria), that was taken over a few years later by 
J. M.  Menninger and played in Bruenn (Brno), Pressburg 
(Bratislava), Budapest and Vienna. M. was one of the founders of the 
genre "Vienna Local Comedy"; ("Wiener Lokalposse"), author of several 
plays for the Schultz company. In 1780 he became head of the company, 
where J. J.  La Roche performed most successfully as the "Punch" 
("Kasperl"). M. opened the first permanent popular theatre of Vienna 
with this troupe in the  Leopoldstaedter Theater in 1781.
