Rittscheintal valley, East Styrian Hills.- Farming and horticulture 
(fruit, maize),small crafts and services; crafts and trade park; 
exemplary achievements in municipal renewal; Rittscheintalhalle 
multi-purpose hall, "Dorfhof" centre (19th century; restored 
in 1999 as communication centre and assembly hall). - First documented 
as Hartmannsdorf Parish in 1232, Gothic parish church with later 
additions; 19th century houses; market town since 1964.
