32.11 km%%sup 2/%, situated west of the Stoober Bach (stream); 
administers the cadastral district of  Landsee. - Office of Public 
Works (of the provincial government of Burgenland), transformer 
station; construction industry, knitwear company, basalt works. - 
Roman Catholic parish church (built towards the end of the 
18%%sup th/%  century, alterations added in 1872), tower, Baroque 
Chapel of St. Oswald, 18%%sup th/%  century wayside shrines.
