b. Vienna, March 21, 1882, d. Beverly Hills (USA), Jan. 30, 1969, 
singer (soprano); wife of the comedian M.  Pallenberg. First 
performance when she was 16 in Vienna; soon became one of the most 
famous operetta divas of her time. Sang with great elegance and 
refinement many leading operetta parts by F.  Lehár, O.  Straus 
and L.  Fall. Emigrated to the USA in 1933.
