d. Vienna, Oct. 3, 1973, Catholic writer, journalist and 
educator, spiritual adviser to university graduates and artists, 
preacher at St. Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna. 1946 co-founder and 
publisher of the paper "Wort und Wahrheit", 1955 founder and head of 
the art gallery "Galerie naechst St. Stephan", which has become an 
important exhibition place for avant-garde art.
