Wall Creeper, big ashgrey bird of approximately 18 cm in length with a 
black tail and black wings with central red patches that can be seen 
particularly well when the bird is flying. Solitary except during the 
breeding season (May-July); lives in crevices in the mountains (up to 
an altitude of 3,000 m), builds its nest mostly in rock faces near a 
stream  Alpine Fauna.
