b. Tarnowskie Góry, Poland (then Tarnowitz), July 22, 1868, 
d. Vienna, July 1, 1929, metallurgist. As factory head of the 
Bleckmann company in Muerzzuschlag he developed a method for producing 
stainless chrome-nickel steel, presented at the "Adria Ausstellung" 
exhibition in Vienna in 1913.
