!!!Mautner Markhof, Georg

b. Vienna, June 11, 1926, entrepreneur, politician and publisher, 
great-grandson of Adolf Ignaz  Mautner, second cousin to Manfred  
Mautner Markhof. Studied in Zurich, Neuenburg and 
St. Gallen, Switzerland; after working as a journalist in 
St. Gallen he joined the family business of  Mautner Markhof in 
1950, which he managed from 1976-1996 ( Mautner Markhof AG. 
Politically active in the Austrian Freedom Party FPOe (1990 Member of 
the Nationalrat and Spokesman for Economic affairs). 1992 resigned 
from all functions in the Freedom Party FPOe and has since been 
advisor to the Liberal Forum, member of the Federal Board of the Ring 
Freiheitlicher Wirtschaftstreibender, an employer´s association 
affiliated with the Freedom Party FPOe.
